New Harlequin Survey Reveals Americans Feel Less Is More during Era of Change

 

New York (January 29, 2009) - With Valentine's Day quickly approaching in a new era of change, romance will suddenly be at the forefront of everyone's thoughts. Even after witnessing the inaugural romance in the White House, some might question the validity of the topic altogether.

 

Yet according to the 2009 Harlequin Romance Report, Perfect Love? Fantasy meets Reality , the definition for perfection in a partner has evolved, and these days less is more. North American men (44%) prefer women au naturel rather than covered in makeup. Women also prefer the real thing. When it comes to men, 23% of women listed hair plugs as their number one turnoff.
